Backstory

Savvy holds master’s degrees in Psychology and HR/Business Management and works as the head of Human Resources for a hospital system. An experienced BDSM submissive, she understands her desires and boundaries. Her childhood best friend and roommate, Brady, betrays her after believing lies told by her fiancé, Dan. Forced to find somewhere to live, Savvy accepts her cousin Jason’s offer to stay at a ranch shared by four dominant men. What begins as temporary shelter becomes an unexpected opportunity for love, trust, and belonging.

Quirks/Flaws

Hates being teased about her height. Loves verbal sparring, especially with Victor. Stubborn, overthinks, struggles to ask for help, and uses independence as emotional armor. Can become defensive when she feels controlled or underestimated. Enjoys baking bread and has her heart set on a Mini Cooper.

Defining Conflict

She wants someone she can surrender control to, but she is terrified of giving anyone the power to hurt her.

Defining Realization

She doesn’t have to choose between being strong and being loved.

Character Arc

She begins as a fiercely independent woman who believes relying on others makes her vulnerable to betrayal. She protects herself through control, emotional distance, and self-sufficiency.

She becomes a woman who understands that vulnerability isn’t weakness and submission isn’t helplessness. She learns to trust, accept love, and choose belonging without sacrificing her independence.

Meet Her Men

Logan — Sir: provides something Savvy rarely experiences: permission to stop managing everything. His calm, controlled presence quiets her racing thoughts. Their greatest relationship challenge is maintaining the distinction between the authority she voluntarily grants him and the autonomy she retains in everyday life. What he teaches her: Being cared for doesn’t mean being controlled.

Xavier — Daddy: recognizes Savvy’s vulnerability beneath her competence. His nurturing instincts provide a place where she doesn’t always have to be strong. Importantly, their relationship cannot become one-sided. Savvy eventually recognizes that Xavier also needs someone to notice when he is exhausted. What he teaches her: She deserves care even when she has nothing left to give.

Nico — Nicky: allows Savvy to be unfiltered. She can argue, joke, swear, compete, and express herself without carefully managing every reaction. His jealousy creates a meaningful challenge. Savvy must learn to reassure him without apologizing for loving the others. What he teaches her: Love can be messy and imperfect without being unsafe.

Victor — Master: challenges Savvy’s intellect and refuses to accept her carefully maintained emotional mask at face value. Their sparring is a form of intimacy. She enjoys being challenged by someone who recognizes her intelligence and doesn’t expect effortless obedience. Their relationship becomes more complicated when psychological games touch genuine emotional vulnerabilities. What he teaches her: She can be fully understood without surrendering her wit, defiance, or individuality.
